A village resort very easily accessible via the motorway of La Maurienne, at the foot of the legendary Col du Galibier, Valloire is an authentic stone and timber resort.
Valloire offers a grand environment and fascinating mountains: les Aiguilles d'Arves, les Cerces with their noble ibex, Thabor , king of the peaks, and the national parks of Les Ecrins and Vanoise.
For professional and amateur cyclists, La Maurienne is the largest cycling area in the world with prestigious passes like Iseran, Madeleine and Galibier accessible from Valloire.
For children, the resort offers activities suitable for all ages, themed courses per week, events and free games with the organisers from the tourist office , shows, provision of karts and unicycles, giant chess and draughts, etc.
The pass'Loisirs (summer 2017 prices indicative only)
As Goélia has joined the Pass'Loisirs Valloire programme, you can get this pass at a preferential rate (€2/day/person or €14/week/person). The Pass'Loisirs gives you an unlimited access to the municipal pool (open from 24/06 to 03/09), the ice rink ( open from 24/06 to 03/09), the telecabins for pedestrians and mountain bikes (open from 01/07 to 03/09) and the village shuttle. You will be free to use it (or not) by heading to one of the desks of the Town hall of Valloire where you will be given your Pass'Loisirs after payment. Named and non reimbursable pass.
Numerous festivals and events all summer to liven your stay. The cultural centre of Valloire provides holidaymakers with a cinema, a library and a Multi-Media room.
In Valloire, you will find one of the largest tree-top adventure parks, with an 80m zip wire, a green, blue, red and black course and rope swinging.
For sports people who are avid thrill seekers, numerous activities such as paragliding, microlight and even introduction flights in a flying club are available.
