The residence

In La Norma, the 3* Goélia Les Balcons d'Anaïs holiday residence is based directly at the foot of the slopes.

GOELIA LES BALCONS D'ANAIS HOLIDAY RESIDENCE

It is made up of mountain chalets opposite the slopes with a wooden façade and balconies. The complex is located at the foot of the gondola lifts and ski lifts, shops and the centre of the resort (restaurants, cinema, pub and games room). You even have the ski kindergarten at the foot of our location in the snow in La Norma!

On site, you will find a launderette, ski lockers, and bakery service on request.

Housing

OUR APARTMENTS FOR YOUR HOLIDAYS

All our apartments are accessible via a lift but in certain cases, some steps must be climbed to access the accommodation. The apartments have a fully fitted kitchen (vitroceramic hobs,dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave grill, coffee maker, kettle, toaster), a bathroom, separated WC, balcony with loungers. Television included.

*Sleeping high up is not suitable for children under 6 years old (Decree No. 95.949 of 25/08/1995).

IMPORTANT:
Never exceed the maximum number of people authorised for the apartment. For safety reasons, we will be required to deny you access (even if it is a baby).

The station

ALTITUDE: 1350-2750 metres
A pleasant family and pedestrian resort very easily accessible via the motorway of La Maurienne.

La Norma offers day care for children from 18 months to 6 years old("Les Lutins" info. on 04 79 20 41 02) and Jardin d'Enfants at the foot of the Goélia complex with supervision and reserved ski area (ESF booking advised on 04 79 20 33 10).

Sport and leisure activities: The ski area stretches over 700 hectares, from 1350 to 2750m and includes65km of slopes, 14 ski lifts, 27 slopes (2 black, 11 red, 7 blue, 7 green), as well as a sledging area reserved for children. Le Domaine de la Norma ensures perfect snow conditions with over 121 snow canons allowing for 80% coverage of the ski area. Night skiing on Thursdays. Diverse snow activities: x-bike (descent in the snow on a mountain bike)...

Bus connections with the ski area of Valfréjus (or over 115km of slopes in total). Extreme thrills: carving, snowboarding, snowblading, snowpark, freeride, snowshoe walks, guided hikes, treking with sled dogs, surfing courses, héliski (special day: helicopter drop off then descent outside of the supervised slopes) information at the tourist office of La Norma.

You will find all the shops and services at the resort (12 restaurants, cinema, club, pub, games rooms, etc.).

CHILDREN AND SENIORS

Free for children born from 2020 and seniors born before 1950.

In any case, the accommodation must be returned with the kitchenette clean (dishes washed and stored). Possibility of daily cleaning (rates on site).

- Pets : Small pets are accepted. Extra charge per animal to be paid on site of €10.50/night, €49/week. Please mention when booking (anti-rabies certificate is mandatory). Attack and guard dogs are not allowed. 1 animal per accommodation only.

- Departure and arrival times:
Arrivals: Saturday between 15:00 and 19:00. The hour of the provision of the accomodation can vary depending on the preparation of this one.
Departures: Before 10.00
Any arrival outside these times must be agreed with the reception for the residence.

- Deposit : €250/accommodation (to be paid on site).

- Tourist tax: approx. €1.35/day/person (to be paid on site). The tax can be reviewed at any time by the municipality as this tax is a local tax, Goélia is not responsible for possible modifications.

All your requests (floor, view, apartment No., etc.) will be taken into account as far as possible, but ca not be guaranteed.

Access to the residence

By train: With TGV connections, La Norma is 4 hours from Paris. All year round TGV trains like the Paris-Milan and Lyon-Milan serve Modane. A regular coach connection ensures the link between the SNCF train station of Modane and La Norma 6km away - Transdev savoie Autocars = 04-79-05-01-32

Important: following a landslide requiring major work, the railway line between St Michel de Maurienne and Modane will remain closed for at least one year. Bus lines will be organized from Saint Michel and Saint Jean de Maurienne to access the resorts of Haute Maurienne (including Norma and Aussois). We thank you for contacting Sncf to ensure schedules and services.

By plane: La Norma is less than 2 hours by road from the airports of Lyon, Genève, Chambéry and Turin.

By road: In 43 exit No. 30 Le Freney, the resort is 9km away, direction Haute-Maurienne via the RN6. La Norma is 6km from Modane, 215km from Lyon and 105km from Chambéry.
In the resort, follow the Goélia signs
